Frequently asked questions
Our Brush Kart has the extreme hull cleaning capability of up to 2500m² per hour, in stripes of 1.30m at a speed of 50m per minute. In other words, this means that a loaded 150,000 DWT SUEZMAX can be cleaned in ONLY 12 hours.
Our 2nd Generation Brush-Kart does not damage either the hull or its paint. It is the only one that has been approved and certified to clean without harming silicon based antifouling coatings by major paint manufacturers, such as Akzonobel - International Paints, KCC & Nanophos.
The required power unit needs to have the capability to provide 90-105lpm at 130bar working pressure.
The 2nd Generation Brush-Kart weights 230 kg at land and has a positive buoyancy of 8kg underwater (ready to use). This gives our kart, the ability to flow to the surface (waterline), in case of any contingency or emergency situation, in case of any contingency or emergency situation.
The required hydraulic hoses need to have a length of 80-120 meters, the pressure hose should be ¾” and the return hose 1”.
As for now, the 2nd Generation Brush-Kart is available only yellow, but an orange version will also be available in 2023.
